The Managing Partner of the firm is N. A. Chibututu. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1975 after her course of study in Law at the University of Lagos. She obtained her LL.M degree from the University of London (London School of Economics and Political Science) in 1977. She joined Unipetrol (now OandO) Plc in 1979 and in her capacity as the Legal advisor and Secretary to Unipetrol, she was the statutory officer responsible for the corporation's compliance with all regulations. Ms. Chibututu was also an active operator ("operator" as defined by Securities and Exchange Commission regulations) in the capital market, having acted on the company's behalf in all its capital market issues (Public, Rights and Bonus issues) from 1991 - 2001. Furthermore, she actively participated in the establishment of the company's local and West African subsidiaries in the 1990's. She retired voluntarily upon the conclusion of the company's privatisation in 2001. Her areas of interest include corporate law, shipping, oil and gas, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets.
Ms. Chibututu is also the President of the International Women's Society. The Society is a charitable organization focusing on women and children.
